CLASS ACTIVITY OF CLASS Ist

Festivals are a time to live, love, celebrate and enjoy with family and friends. It is a time of endless joy and excitement. In India we have many different festivals and each state has their own way of celebrating these festivals. There are perks of staying in cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai or any other metropolitan cities as we get to witness different cultures at one place. We at KCS feel it is very important for our kids to see and get involved in all the festivities, therefore class activity is organised "Let's Celebrate "during their regular online classes to make them aware about this .

ANIMAL SHOW

Animal show was conducted in junior wings to create love , care & affection in the hearts of our little champs .It was the fabulous start and really a touching event when our pretty juniors realise the value of all the creatures made by God on this beautiful Earth especially "Animals".It is true but rare & hard to believe that once all the animals on the planet were all the human qualities.They also respond when they loved,cared. Through this show we tried to make our children realise how to treat animals with love ,care .Not to hurt anyone just because they are animals instead we need to inculcate a friendly feelings in us towards all the beautiful & innocent creatures . " We are made by God .....

CELEBRATION OF PURPLE DAY

Colours always fascinate us .It enlivens our environment & is an integral part of our life Purple day was celebrated to make the little kid ds aware about colours & how they add beauty to things around us .Purple the Colo that represents the future ,the imagination and dreams , spiritually calming the emotions was thoroughly enjoyed by our Little ones .

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION

Tiny tots celebrated Christmas with great vitality .Tiny tots were arrayed in red & white ( Santa's Favourite Colours) & clicked images The boundless joy of celebrating the festival was evident on the faces of all children.

G.K.QUIZ FOR CLASS VI to VIII

An interclass G.k. quiz for classes VI to VIII was conducted innschool multipurpose hall.Various thought provoking questions based on general , science ,signs & symbols, sports, current affairs ,states & their capitals & Indian Sobriquets were asked from participants.

Show & Tell.competition for class III to V

To improve the communication & descriptive skills in children "Show & Tell " competition was organised for class III to V students of Kanossa Convent School.Children described & spoke a few lines on object of their choice .They were excited to share their descriptive narration & waited eagerly for their turn to show & tell

A Fancy dress competition not only blends learning with fun but also develops confidence in students by giving them an opportunity to speak infront of their own classmates and teachers .The children participated in fancy dress competition.Theme - The Community Helpers etc .The children came dressed in appropriate costumes .As our little ones were looking adorable .They won our hearts with their exuberance & enthusiasm.

"The colours of love & smiles illuminates the air with energy ,vigour and exuberance .....". The shades of red made out tinytots feel bright ,lively and cheerful .The day started off with the colour red everywhere red dress,red teddy,red car ,red apples,red cherries, here a red ....... There a red ........... Red red everywhere .....Our little ones spent a spectacular red day .

RANGOLI MAKING COMPETITION

Education & Competition are two common elements of all human values. Any kind of competition plays an important role in academic achievement because it helps students to know their strengths & improve their performance. Rangoli is an art which precedes sculpture & painting. It is a custom to draw rangoli at the site of any auspicious religious ritual such as holy festival, a religious festival etc.

HALLOWEEN CELEBRATION

The Little ones enjoyed the Halloween decorated room for them and had a memorable day with dance and music.Trick or treat was a fun filled and enjoyable task for them . Altogether it was day full of fun

It is a celebration of the victory of good over evil. Students paste dressed up any character like lord Rama, Sita, Lakshman and Hanuman.

CARTOON SHOW FOR CLASS NURSERY & K.G .

Cartoon world is an amazing world of imagination where we create any character of our own choices full of all super natural powers.This is a world of dreams which is full of beautiful colours character and all the pretty kids are fond of watching cartoons.It is really an innovative idea to teach children all the goodness of life and morals through these characters as they design the same image in their mind and started copying that. We have celebrated Cartoon World in our reputed school named Kanossa Convent in the month of December 2021 which was really appreciated not only by kids but also by their parents . JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION ACTIVITY

krishna Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. Janmashtami festival was celebrated with great zeal and pomp by the students at Kanossa Convent School. Children made their own matkis, painted and decorated it with glitter and stickers.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION -ROLE PLAY DONE BY TEACHER'S

Sweeter than honey,tastier than curd,pleasanter indeed yhan any other happiness and joy is the company ,is the power of the name of "Krishna". A splendidly colorful program was organized by the teacher's of Pre-Primary wings of the school,where they presented songs,dance performances and a short play.An awareness on Janmashtami,the mythological stories on Krishna,Devki,Kansh etc through plays and narrations were presented to kids during their online class.

RAKSHA BANDHAN CELEBRATION

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond, Kanossa Convent School conducted activity -Greeting card making for class III & IV ,Thali decoration for class V ,Rakhi making activity for class VI ,Envelope making activity for class VII & VIII. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. KCS believes that such celebrations of festivals with true spirit teach students about our Indian traditions. The Principal of the school appreciated the work of the students.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Independence Celebration at school often mean a beautifully decorated campus in ribbons & balloons of National flag's colours.but this year Covid -19 has shut schools indefinitely and added a twist to this Independence day celebrations. At Kanossa Convent School,talking about this year's celebrations,Principal Ms. Neetu Singh says," No circumstance can dampen the enthusiasm of our children.So we will celebrate all the event in the same manner as we had been celebrating in our offline classes.So that our kids cn understand the value of all the festivities.

MEHANDI COMPETITION

Kanossa Convent School provided a virtual stage to the stars of standard VI to VIII by organising an online Mehandi Competition .children created beautiful designs in different thees .Mehandi reflects the rich Indian culture bringing together the knowledge of medicinal herbs with many lovely sentiments & beliefs.This competition was organised to seek & develop the traditional values among children.The aim of this competition was not merely to see the drawing skills of children but also the creativity of the children and their way of representation which will in turn improve the overall personality of the student.

FLOWER MAKING ACTIVITY

“The World is but a canvas to the imagination.” Students of Class III to V participated in “Flower Making ” activity with paper during their online classes . It was a new and fun filled experience for our students. The happiness of moulding the paper to make different flowers was a sight to behold. Our students loved this activity thoroughly and were seen feeling proud of their own handmade flowers.

CELEBRATION OF GREEN DAY

Green – The colour of Prosperity and Harmony. Green Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Pre Primary Wing during their online classes. The Nursery & K.G. students and teachers dressed in pretty green attires and looked eco friendly.

EAT HEALTHY,STAY HEALTHY

We at Kanossa Convent conducted an “EAT HEALTHY ,STAY HEALTHY” activity for the students of class Nursery to V .The activity was conducted with a view to create awareness about the nutrutional value of food during their online classes .Teachers apprised them about the significance of healthy food and unhealthy food with super props and perfect demo .

CELEBRATION OF "ORANGE " DAY

Orange is a dynamic colour that stimulates imagination and creativity .Toddlers in Orange radiated warmth and happiness , combining the physical energy and stimulation of red with the cheerfulness of yellow . The children of Nursery & K.G. , celebrated Orange day during their online class with a sole objective to acquaint the little ones with the concept of the secondary colour and objects related to it .The children were exposed to a series of creative activities to help them understand the positive impact of orange .The teacher's & children were both in a harmonious shades of orange colour .The activity helped in reinforcing the concept of orange colour.The children enjoyed a lot and it was indeed a pleasure to witness little ones dressed up in Orange bubbling with energy and fascination.

Teachers teach students the valuable life lessons and play an essential role in their lives. They impart knowledge and understanding to students. They are responsible for the transfer of technical and intellectual skills to the next generation.To make them understood regarding the class play, an activity is organised for the students of class 2nd during their online classes. During the COVID -19,pandemic , students at all levels were unable to attend school .To maintain students learning ,the school have adopted online teaching .Therefore ,the purpose of this study was to explore the design of online teaching activities and online teaching processes adopted by teacher's during the pandemic.

CELEBRATION OF "BLUE " DAY

CELEBRATION OF BLUE DAY "BLUE" Is a cool & calming color that shows creativity & intelligence. Kids of nursery & K. G. need to develop ability to identify colors and differentiate among them, so an activity of blue day is organised for kids during their online classes. All the kids dressed up in different shades & hues of blue. To make the activity more inclusive, children kept different objects like toys, decorative items & drawing based on theme during their online classes. Children enjoyed the activity with great immense enthusiasm & zeal during their online classes. Teacher apprised them about the color recognition of "BLUE" with super props & perfect demo.

CELEBRATION OF "PINK" DAY

"The good effects of Pink kindles friendship,harmony and affection " ......!! The Pre- Primary section of Kanossa Convent School celebrated Pink Day during their online classes .It was wonderful to see our children bloom and blossom in different shades of Pink .The young ones dressed in pink colour .All the Pink Colour objects were displayed during their online classes and children were introduced to different shades of pink.The tiny tots participated in a variety of hands on activities related to identification of Pink Colour .Art &Craft activities reinforced the concept of colour in children .The aim of activity was to make the young ones identify pink colour in the objects they see around them .The blooming buds enjoyed a lot & simultaneously understood the aesthetic sense of Pink colour .Thus,the purpose of celebration of Pink Colour day was fulfilled.
