Dear Parents, At [KANOSSA CONVENT], we take immense pride in nurturing young minds with values that shape their future. To honor Gandhi Jayanti and Lal Bahadur Shastri Jayanti, our school organized an array of activities aimed at introducing students to the core principles of these great leaders—truth, non-violence, simplicity, and discipline. Through thoughtful, creative exercises, we engaged students from Nursery to Grade 2, helping them understand and appreciate the profound impact of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri on our nation’s history. Engaging Creativity in Nursery, LKG, and UKG: Our youngest students in Nursery, LKG, and UKG were given special worksheets to color, highlighting important symbols like Gandhi’s iconic charkha and the famous three monkeys—representing the principles of “See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil.” These colorful activities were designed to make the children more aware of Gandhi’s teachings in a simple yet effective way, combining fun with foundational learning. Interactive Learning for Grades I and II : For students in Grades 1 and 2, the worksheets encouraged active participation, asking them to complete tasks that further explored the values championed by Gandhiji and Shastriji. Whether it was about Gandhi Ji ’ s role in India’s freedom struggle or ShastriJi' s simple yet powerful motto of “Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan,” these activities helped our students better understand the role these leaders played in shaping modern India. The day began with a special assembly where teachers narrated stories from the lives of Mahatma Gandhi Ji and Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji , offering students insights into their ideologies and the importance of peace and self-reliance. This assembly aimed to make children reflect on the timeless relevance of these great leaders' values in their own lives. Dear Parents, We invite you to explore the accompanying pictures that capture the joy and enthusiasm with which our students participated in the day’s activities. Through these thoughtful exercises, we are hopeful that the spirit of Mahatma Gandhi’s charkha and the wisdom behind the three monkeys will leave a lasting impression on their young hearts. As we continue to foster values of kindness, responsibility, and self-discipline, we remain committed to nurturing the next generation of thoughtful and compassionate leaders. A mother — not just a word, but a world in itself. Yesterday, our tiniest little hearts expressed their boundless love in the most beautiful way possible — through colours, glitters, and handmade creations. With tiny fingers and glowing eyes, they crafted crowns, wristbands, cards, and tokens of love that spoke louder than words ever could.
It wasn’t just an art activity — it was their way of saying “You are my favourite person, Mama.”
In every sparkle, there was a smile; in every fold, a feeling. It was a small gesture filled with big love — a soft “thank you” from a child’s heart to the one who means the world to them.
Because when a mother is around, every day feels like a festival.

Debate isn’t just about arguing—it’s about thinking, listening, and leading.
Catch a glimpse of the dynamic minds from Classes 6, 7, and 8 as they confidently presented their views on topics that matter.
Proud moments captured—don’t miss them!
Dear Parents,
At our esteemed institution, we believe that true education goes beyond textbooks—it builds confidence, cultivates opinions, and shapes future leaders. With this vision, we proudly organized an Inter-Class English Debate Competition for Classes 6 to 8, giving our students a platform to express, reason, and engage.
Class 6 debated on "Life would be better if there were no mobile phones."
Class 7 delved into the thought-provoking topic "Are exams truly a test of students’ ability?"
Class 8 explored the future with "Artificial Intelligence will take over human jobs."
Each student spoke with clarity, conviction, and courage—showcasing not just their language skills, but also their growing awareness of the world around them.
We invite all our dear parents to view the captivating glimpses of this intellectual exchange. Witness the poise, preparation, and passion of our young debaters.
Stay connected with us on our social media platforms as we continue to nurture voices that will lead tomorrow.

"The essence of education lies in training the mind to think, not just to remember." – Albert Einstein
At our school, ( KANOSSA CONVENT) we believe that true learning goes beyond textbooks—it’s about nurturing curious minds, sharpening reasoning skills, and empowering students to think independently.
Today, our students participated in a Critical Thinking Activity designed to challenge their logic, problem-solving abilities, and creative thinking. A thoughtfully curated worksheet was given to them, which included:
Decoding Maths Puzzles
Pattern Recognition Challenges
Logic Grids
Sequence and Number Reasoning
Brain Teasers
And more exciting twists that made learning both fun and stimulating!
The objective was to encourage children to analyze, question, and decode rather than just solve. The level of engagement, focus, and teamwork displayed by the students was truly commendable. It was heartening to see them enjoying the thrill of “figuring things out” and approaching problems with fresh perspectives.
We extend our sincere appreciation to all our educators who designed the activity with such care and to our young learners who participated with enthusiasm.
Dear Parents, your continuous support plays a vital role in making such experiential learning moments possible. Thank you for being a part of our journey in shaping thinkers of tomorrow.
Stay connected for more updates and glimpses into our active learning environment.

"Pink is not just a colour, it's the expression of love, kindness, and playfulness."
Today, our little wonders from Pre-Primary and early Primary classes ( Nursery ,LKG & UKG) painted the school pink—literally and joyfully!
We celebrated Pink Day, a special occasion designed to help our young learners identify and appreciate the beauty of colours through experience and play. Dressed adorably in various shades of pink, the children looked vibrant and full of cheer.
The day was filled with exciting, hands-on activities such as:
Sorting pink objects
Colouring pink-themed worksheets
Engaging craftwork using pink materials
Storytime focused on the theme of love and caring
Fun photo sessions to capture their beaming smiles
The classrooms and corridors came alive with pink balloons, flowers, and cheerful decorations—creating an environment of warmth and joy.
This celebration not only introduced our students to the world of colours but also helped them build confidence, express emotions, and strengthen their motor skills through art and movement.
We thank all our dear parents for your support in dressing up your children and making this day so memorable. Your involvement always adds a special touch to every event.

Dear Parents,

“The strength of any institution lies not only in its walls and systems, but in the hands that build, clean, protect, and nurture it.”
This Labour Day, we take a pause to honour the backbone of our school—the people who ensure that every day runs smoothly even before the first bell rings.
While we teach, learn, and grow within the classrooms, there is a quiet workforce that supports our mission in the most humble yet powerful ways.
Usha , Munesh, Santosh, Seema, Mala,Neelam, lokesh, madhu, kiran ,babli—these women handle the cleaning, kitchen, and office responsibilities with such consistency, care, and discipline that our school runs like clockwork.
Nawal Bhaiya, stationed at the gate, isn’t just a gatekeeper. He’s the first smile our parents see, the familiar face every student waves to, and someone who remembers every little detail about every family. His sense of duty and human connection is a rare gift.
To celebrate their unwavering service, our school organised a special appreciation segment during the morning assembly. Tokens of gratitude were presented, and students expressed their thanks with applause and warm gestures.
Let us all remember: Labour is not just about hard work—it's about heart work.
On this day and every day, let us acknowledge, appreciate, and uplift those who serve silently but significantly.
Stay connected for more such moments of gratitude and inspiration.

The senses are the gateway to the soul — let children touch, taste, see, hear, and smell the world to truly know it.”
Dear Parents,
With hearts full of joy and minds buzzing with curiosity, our students from Nursery to Class 8 embarked on a Sensory Journey today—one that awakened all five senses and turned learning into an unforgettable experience!
To the tune of a thoughtfully curated soundtrack, children explored sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch through a series of engaging activities. Each corner of the school came alive—bursting with colours, textures, fragrances, melodies, and flavours that captured their attention and sparked imagination.
This immersive activity not only tested and activated their sensory responses but also built stronger observation, communication, and cognitive skills in a playful and joyous setting.
We sincerely thank all parents for their continuous support and encouragement.
Stay tuned—more such delightful learning moments are on the way!

“The Earth is what we all have in common.” – Wendell Berry
On April 22, [Kanossa Convent] came alive with vibrant shades of green as we celebrated Earth Day with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to our planet.
The day commenced with a special assembly, where our young environmentalists from the junior classes delivered heartfelt speeches and skits, emphasizing the importance of nurturing and protecting Mother Earth. Their performances resonated with the audience, instilling a sense of responsibility towards environmental conservation.
Embracing the “Go Green” theme, the entire school was adorned with eco-friendly decorations. Classrooms showcased creative displays made from recyclable materials, and our dedicated teachers donned elegant green sarees, symbolizing their support for a sustainable future.
A highlight of the celebration was the plantation drive, where students and teachers actively participated in planting saplings around the school premises. This hands-on activity not only beautified our surroundings but also served as a practical lesson in environmental stewardship.
Adding a personal touch to the festivities, our youngest learners engaged in a delightful handprint tree poster activity. Guided by their teachers, they imprinted their painted hands onto large tree posters, creating a collaborative artwork that symbolized unity and growth.
Further enriching the day's events, students took part in poster-making and waste-to-craft competitions. These activities encouraged creativity and highlighted the importance of recycling and reusing materials to reduce our ecological footprint.
The Earth Day celebration at [Kanossa Convent] was more than just an event; it was a heartfelt initiative to educate and inspire our students to become proactive guardians of our planet. Through engaging activities and collective efforts, we reaffirmed our commitment to a greener, healthier Earth.
